OpsPuls is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and mobile application.
1. Introduction
Aadhika Operations LLC ("OpsPuls," "we," "us," or "our") operates the OpsPuls platform at opspuls.com and related mobile applications. This policy applies to all users of our services.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Account registration: Name, email, phone, business name
- Financial data: Invoices, receipts, bank transaction history (via Plaid)
- Payment information: Billing address, payment method (processed by Stripe)
- Support communications: Messages, emails, support tickets
2.2 Information We Collect Automatically
- Device information: IP address, browser type, operating system
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, time spent
- Cookies and tracking: Analytics (limited tracking)
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and improve the Service

4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Integrations
We do NOT sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers:
4.1 Plaid (Bank Account Authentication)
- Purpose: Secure bank account authentication and transaction retrieval
- Data shared: Plaid access token (encrypted at rest using AES-256 + AWS KMS envelope encryption); OpsPuls never receives or stores bank login credentials. Authentication is handled entirely by Plaid
- Data retained: Transaction history retained for up to 90 days from the date of collection
- Privacy policy: Plaid End User Privacy Policy
4.2 Anthropic Claude API (AI Invoice Processing & Anomaly Detection)
OpsPuls uses Anthropic's Claude API for AI-powered invoice processing and anomaly detection:
- Purpose: Extract financial data from invoices (amounts, vendors, dates, line items), detect price anomalies, and generate insights
- Data shared: Invoice images/PDFs, invoice line items, historical pricing data (no customer names or personally identifiable information)
- Data retention: Invoices processed in real-time; API requests NOT logged by Anthropic per their privacy policy
- Encryption: Invoices encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) during API transmission

4.3 Clerk (User Authentication & Identity Management)
- Purpose: Secure user authentication, session management, and multi-factor authentication
- Data shared: Email address, name, authentication credentials (hashed)

4.4 Stripe (Payment Processing)
- Purpose: Process credit card payments and generate invoices
- Data shared: Billing address, payment method (credit card number never stored by OpsPuls)

4.5 AWS (Cloud Hosting & Data Storage)
- Purpose: Store databases, application files, and backup data
- Data shared: All customer data (encrypted at rest and in transit)

5. Data Security
- AES-256 encryption for data at rest
- TLS 1.3 encryption for data in transit
- Role-based access control and multi-factor authentication
6. AI Processing & Data Privacy
OpsPuls uses Anthropic's Claude AI to improve invoice processing accuracy. Important clarifications:
- Anthropic does NOT retain invoice data: Invoices are processed in real-time and discarded; Anthropic does not use your data to train their models
- No sensitive customer information shared: Vendor names, amounts, dates are shared; customer names, addresses, and confidential business data are NOT shared

7. Your Privacy Rights
7.1 Access & Correction
You can access, update, or correct your account information by logging into your account or contacting security@opspuls.com.
7.2 Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated data. We will comply within 30 days, except where legally required to retain information.
7.3 GDPR Rights (EU Users)

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to Know: You may request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of collection, the purposes for collection, and the third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to Delete: You may request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions required by law.
- Right to Opt Out of Sale: OpsPuls does not sell your personal information. You do not need to opt out.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

9. Cookies
We use minimal cookies for session management and analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; however, some features may not function properly.
10. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their privacy policies before sharing information.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or by posting a notice on our website.
12. Third-Party Service Integrations
When you connect the following services to OpsPuls, we access and store the data described below:
- Toast POS: Order history, sales data, menu items, channel breakdown. Used for Sales Dashboard and Menu Profitability features.
- Square: Order history, sales data. Used for Sales Dashboard (if connected).
- Clover: Order history, sales data. Used for Sales Dashboard (if connected).
- Plaid: Bank transactions, account balances. Used for Bank Reconciliation and Cash Flow Advisory features.
- DoorDash / Uber Eats: Payout amounts via bank transactions. Used for 3PO Reconciliation features.
What we do not access: Payment card numbers, customer personal information, employee social security numbers, or any data beyond what is necessary to provide your OpsPuls subscription.
AI processing: Some OpsPuls features use Anthropic's Claude API to generate plain-English summaries and recommendations from your financial data. We use Anthropic's Zero Data Retention (ZDR) configuration. Your data is processed but never stored by Anthropic and never used for AI training. Data retention: Third-party data is retained for as long as your subscription is active, plus 30 days after cancellation, at which point it is permanently deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time by contacting support@opspuls.com.
